Yes! It has a built-in battery that charges easily with the included cable.

It has 3 speed modes so you can pick the pace that suits your cat best. Tap the button once to change mode. The colour the ball glows tells you which mode is active.
Purple: slow mode
Yellow: normal mode
Blue: fast mode

Hold the button for 2 seconds to turn it on or off. Tap the button to change mode.

After 5 minutes of play it enters standby. If it isn't woken within 30 minutes of standby it switches off automatically, and the mode light flashes twice every minute while in standby.

Low-battery indicator: the red light flashes quickly before shutdown. While charging the red light flashes; when fully charged it stays solid.
